    Intermediate/Project Architect

    You will be responsible for project management duties, overseeing teams and assisting with preparation of architectural design drawings, presentation drawings, renderings, through to production of construction documentation, tender, and construction administration.

    Duties

    Taking project from start to finish

    Assist with preparation of proposals and fee letters

    Management of clients, schedules and multi-discipline project delivery teams

    Provide oversight on multiple projects

    Qualifications

    BC Registered Architect

    2 years BC experience

    Working knowledge of BC Building Code

    Proficient in AutoCAD and Sketchup

    Revit experience not essential, but will be considered an asset.

    LEED certification an asset

    Skills

    Ability to function well as a team member

    High level of accuracy and quality of work

    Experience in production of specifications

    Both internal and consultant coordination

    Time management skills and the ability to work to and meet tight deadlines

    Flexible and able to serve in multi-faceted roles, switching roles throughout the workday

    Excellent interpersonal skill and effective written and speaking skills

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

CAD Technologist

Architectural Technologist

We are looking for a self-motivated and talented technologist to join our dynamic firm. Duties will include drafting detailed drawings. Your role would be to support the project manager, senior technologist and team with the delivery through all aspects of project development and to be accountable for accuracy and quality of design and construction documentation.

Duties

Preparation of construction drawing sets that confirm to BCBC and municipal bylaws

Develop details

Prepare site instructions, respond to RFIs and other questions

Coordinate Architectural drawings with sub-consultants work

Qualifications

AIBC registered Architectural Technologist

Minimum 2 years BC experience

Knowledge of BC Building Code

Proficient in AutoCAD

Revit experience not essential, but will be considered an asset.

Skills

Proficient in preparing design development and construction documents

Ability to implement and integrate systems, protocols, and standards

Flexible and able to serve in multi-faceted roles, switching roles throughout the workday

Ability to interpret conceptual sketches and problems solve technical detailing

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

High level of accuracy and quality of work

Good organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects, prioritize work and meet deadlines

Good understanding of building construction

Familiarity with the application process of D.P. and B.P.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal, communication and English language skills
